What do you think of this?

Even if we levied miniscule taxes on all market transactions, governments could earn tremendous revenues, and the taxes would be imposed on those to whom they would be least imposing.

I would support it without question.

Why treat some transactions differently than others? If I sell you a stock in a company why should that be subject to a special tax, but if I sell you anything else this tax doesnt apply?

no thank you, I don't think we need the government wasting anymore money.

The only good reason to do this is if it would cut down on bot trading.

It is an absolutely despicable idea. I'm living in a sovereign nation and refuse to pay any type of "global taxes."

First of all, remove the word "earn" from your question, because taxes are not earned, they are taken. The money being taxed has been earned, and the tax is being TAKEN from the earner. No government anywhere does anything to earn any money.

Second, the day I pay a global tax of any kind is the day they pry it from my cold, dead wallet. Take your one world socialistic foolishness, print it on a picket sign and go protest outside in some city park.

You said it! I'll go further. I wish to help squash the rise of World Government in any and every way that I can.

I refuse to obey orders from anyone that is not an American Citizen.

I will not obey UN mandates. I refuse.

I will not pay any "global" tax. Our nation is THE most charitable one on the planet.

Enough already~

We all live on the same planet, nutjobs. The concept of "nations" is ridiculous and outdated.

Fine, naive one. Whose vision of government do you really want to embrace? The Chinese? The North Koreans?

Taxes go to governments to be squandered... starving the beast(s) is the only way to insure we reduce the theft and intrusion we are experiencing by bureaucracies... no to more taxes.
