I'm in my late twenties and am thinking of reinvesting penny stock profits and VWEHX elsewhere in order to preserve accumulated income. I side with the flexibility of ETFs, but need some advice deciding.
So far I've looked into VWINX, VWELX, VGSTX, VASGX, VFIFX, VTSMX, VFINX, VTSAX, VFIAX, VTMFX for mutual funds,
and for ETFs - BND, BLV, VNQ, VSS, VWO, VEA, VEU, VGK, VYM, VIG, VUG, VOO, VTI, VDE,
First you have to decide between mutual fund and ETFs. Each has its pros/cons. You can also mix the 2 types.
Next, you have to decide what you want. For example, if you want diversification, then go with VTSMX (VTSAX) for mutual fund or VTI for ETF. These 2 are basically the identical funds.
