Exactly lol, I'm going to update the trading thread I created awhile ago, so people can start showing some accountability again.

I wasn't trying to brag, I was just trying to give some pointers to other investors out there and engage in some intellectually stimulating and interesting trading discussions

Another reason I'm short AAPL is due to the uber strong US dollar which I believe will negatively affect earnings when Apple announces next month. I also believe that sales of the IWatch will disappoint and this will put pressure on their guidance going forward

Ignore the above poster, they have no idea what they are talking about.

A quick look at the charts gives a picture of what will happen next. I'm interested in knowing what your analysis was in order for you to short this particular stock?

As I am a derivate trader and stuff , I am staying away from AAPL at this moment. There are too many variables into the mix to predict where it is heading in the short term.

Can you educate me on what a "derivate" is? Or do you mean derivatives?

I am long on AAPL too. I think price for AAPL would be like 500-600 in 5-6 years.

Ha ha, pray tell me you're joking; that would make AAPL like a $4 trillion company. I guess you think that in five years not only will AAPL dominate the smart phone market but also discover a cure for cancer and end our dependence on foreign oil, okay. I opened a significant short position in AAPL a couple weeks ago at $128.48 and remain confident in that trade. I'm by no means an Apple hater as I own a IPhone 5 and MacBook Air and love both products.
