I think oil is too risky.... With all the investments available, I would avoid oil....

Might be too risky, might be a great buying time if you want to hold for a little while.

This. I just see this as a buying opportunity to own blue chip companies at a steep discount. But I also plan to hang onto these stocks for the next 20-30yrs.

My hardest part right now is NOT overloading on currently cheap energy stocks.

I think it's a big difference owning oil stocks or the commodity crude itself. The first is historically profitable and the latter is a bust.

This knife is still falling. The ETF OIL is down to $8.10 today. Energy ETF's are looking attractive. Time to rebalance.
