my weekly $50 just transferred into my brokerage account. lately I've just been buying swppx s&p 500 index.

Im thinking buying amazon with the stock slice feature. idk tho the index fund has been treating me well.

Hi pit2atl, I invest in qqq only, no more s&p 500 index. I believe in tech more than broader S&P 500. I think this trend has been going on for a while now. To me, spy vs qqq performance difference is too big to ignore. I will take my risk with qqq.

I agree. However with schwab you cant dollar cost average an ETF. It would take me 2 months to be able to buy one share of QQQ. Does QQQ have an equivalent mutual fund?

Ah I see. If you have fidelity, go for the fidelity blue chip growth fund. They have a few classes of them. I invest all my 401k in that fund, excellent manager with long history of growth. If not go for vigax, a vanguard fund.
