So, OK. Sprint missed their projected marks in a few areas, but apparently hit their marks in others. The Street Oracles say that was bad enough to hammer the stock. OK, fine.

Does anyone know what the Circuit Breakers did? When I look at a quote on the Schwab site they have a "(B)" next to the ticker symbol and that indicates the Circuit Breakers kicked in. How long does that stay engaged? Just for today?

Well, dang. It happened again today. I used to have a position in Sprint but not any more. And with this happening twice within 6 months I'm not likely to take a new position any time soon.

Stock was halted on news. Depending on what the news was/is (merger falling apart) the stock CAN be halted for just 15 min or all day, depending on either the % of drop (volatility) or if the SEC/EXCHANGES deem the market (investors) have had time to digest the news and are ready to have an opening rotation.
