Over half of Americans have $0 in stocks - Apr. 10, 2015

For those that have kept money in Fixed Income for many years is this a good time to get back in? Every source I read says stocks are extremely expensive and a correction is imminent.. but then again the media was saying that 3 years ago 😫

The Trump impeachment scenario could cause a crash though.

Market is totally irrational. It's being driven mainly by liquidity injections by central banks.

Who knows how long this can continue for, but as long as it does, the market will keep going up...until it doesn't.

Not me! - because I'll never get out entirely, even when retired.

Not even the pros know how to do it anymore because what's going on is unprecedented. Any moron could have made money in this market by just putting the money in an index fund.

Any dip in the market based on fundamentals? Lol.

Liquidity injection by central banks. It's been like this for years now. It's completely insane to me.

This market has been one of the easiest of all times, especially now.

How do you know when the music stops though?

What do you think will happen when the monthly $200B liquidity injections stop?

It's irrelevant, let politics take the bench and just act based on market performance.

Depending on how active you are in the market and the speed at which you can identify a drawdown when it does happen or if you're hedged in some way...or whatever strategy you utilize, YOU might be able to get out of the market at the right time, what about everybody else?

People are going to lose their entire life savings when the music stops. It's going to be a tragedy. What these banks are doing is no less than treason in my opinion.

Even when there has been a correction, isn't a potential correction is always imminent.

No matter how high the market is - it is bound to go higher. Soon? Maybe not, but in times like this when the market is relatively high (P/E ratios?) I wonder - where else is there to put my money?

Seriously, where are you folks putting money that is NOT in the stock market? Personally, I've thought about moving some of my IRA into real estate and becoming a landlord. But I think I don't want to deal with the tenants. There is gold, and occasionally I will buy when it is really low. And I have thought about starting another company. But then, that is work and I retired because I was tired of work.

Where else can you get a decent return?
