Ugh, normally I would have flipped this after about an 8 point run up. This time I sat still because it's a "long term hold". Now down 10 points on my 50 shares.

If/When it goes down to a target I've set I'll buy some additional shares.

Yea, sorry about the BG, the timing kind of sucked, didn't it? Still, AAPL is the kind of company you want to own...if I were in your shoes with it I'd have ZERO problem averaging down and holding. When I first bought into AAPL, I bought in at around $180 (pre-split) and added more on the way down to around $140ish, and it worked out great long term. But that's just me, you have to decide what's best for you.

I have a buy order in at 90 and one at 85. I don't expect them to hit anytime soon, but then again, you never know.

Here come the 5G iPhone 12s!

https://seekingalpha.com/news/361217...mber-15-update

Link has been updated, this is an iPad focused event with an iPhone event in October:

Update: Bloomberg is reporting the event will be iPad-focused with the iPhone event coming at a later date. No official word, but the timeline would track with previous media reports suggesting the iPhone announcement will come in October.

phones, yeah, fine.

But what will 5G service cost? That's the important piece of this equation.

Not blaming you at all, TK. This is a long term hold and I got burned the last time, selling it for an 18 point gain when it could have been a 100 point gain. It will come back.
