Lots of disillusioned RH traders today.

I understand RH wants to go public so they have to act like grown-ups, but it smacks of Big Brother and I have to wonder who "got to them".

They banned the buy side by banning the purchase of specific stocks and call options, but allowed people to exit their positions. So all the demand dried up and the supply crushed the stocks, resulting in massive losses on at least GME, AMC, and NOK

I seriously doubt the terms and conditions state that if people are making too much money, the company reserves the right to backstop major institutions at your expense

You haven’t established any basis for a lawsuit. Firms place restrictions all the time on opening new positions while still allowing liquidating orders only

I'm sure they cleared this move with their legal counsel but they are going to lose a huge chunk of their customer base and their credibility just went down the tubes.
