I’m not saying the markets going up this year or down. That’s not why I invest. I have a multi decade investment time horizon and what I do know is We have had better leadership and we’ve had worse leadership. We’ve been through worse times and have had better times. We also have a century of history showing that the stock market is an incredible wealth creator for those that are not emotional about investing and stay the course.

We have never had worse leadership at a worse time. Have you noticed that Russia has been threatening the use of nukes ever more frequently now as we continue to mindlessly arm Ukraine? Inflation is raging and isn't coming down any time soon. Housing market may collapse. Student loan payments are eventually going to be restarted. And so on.

BG, you let the noise bother you way too much. When has the world situation ever been peaceful? When has political leadership anywhere ever been great? Read this quote and understand what it's saying:

"In the 20th century, the United States endured two world wars and other traumatic and expensive military conflicts; the Depression; a dozen or so recessions and financial panics, oil shocks, a flu epidemic, and the resignation of a disgraced president. Yet the Dow rose from 66 to 11,497."

- Warren Buffett

TK your posts are top notch, and you know I like Buffett, but I have to look at where we are at right now.

I think you might be on to something....shoukd have atleast "trimmed"...

Dow Jones....currently about 32,759

Only a few days ago ....February 13th ...34,245

Dow is now like early november 2022...

From about november 8th to very recently the Dow was mainly 33,000 to 34,000 range
dipping to 32,757 on december 19th (almost exact same as today).

I'm a buy and hold dummy..so it means a $10K drop since mid february...

Well then today's drop is meaningless. Buy the dip.

We’re returning to “neutral” from a prior overbought condition, which I cited 3 weeks ago and hedged up against. I hope some listened at least
