Any 1st hand experience with NU High/ Price Laboratory School in Cedar Falls? (schools)

I have been doing some web research about schools in Cedar Falls and as a potential future student at the University of Northern Iowa, I am intrigued by the Northern University K-12 school (formerly Price Laboratory School) on the UNI campus. Especially since my spouse is studying to be a teacher, the entire concept seems positive and effective.

I have read a great deal about the school but I wondered if anyone here on CD had any firsthand experience with the school, as a parent or alumni. It seems like an awesome place and I would love for our 2 to attend if we move there, but I understand there are various limits on enrollment and it depends on where you live and so forth.

But mainly I am wanting to know if the school is as good in real life as it appears from what I am reading. I know, for example, that the charter school my kids attend here in Texas looks GREAT when you read their brochures and website and mission statement and all but in reality they fall very far short of what they claim to be.

I don't have firsthand experience but a colleague in my grad program works there and raves about how fantastic it is.

Thanks. It sounds awesome, but I am having the hardest time finding info on it aside from what is provided by the school directly. Most school have reviews somewhere online and I can't find anything for this one. Frustrating!
