'What have you done?'
I said, 'fifty prayers have been enjoined on me.'
He said, 'I know the people better than you, because I had the hardest experience to bring Bani Israel to obedience. Your followers cannot put up with such obligation. So, return to your Lord and request Him (to reduce the number of prayers.'

First there was the two or three dozen ancient gods who were saviors born of virgins, performed miracles, were crucified and rose from the dead, then the Jewish rendition, then the Arabic version and finally...ol' Joseph Smith and his encounter with the angel Mormon. LOL!

Over 4,000 modern versions of ancient gods and over 40,000 versions of one of them...Christianity. Give Me A Break!

I must say, I'm fascinated by the idea that Muhammad met Moses, who was dead and buried centuries before he was born. By the same token, I might just as easily claim that I ran into Isaac Newton last week on the #9 bus here in Brooklyn.
