Peace be on you. Allah, the Exalted, has made a conditional promise to believers:
“Allah has promised to those among you; who believe and do good deeds that He will surely make them Successors in the Earth, as He made Successors
from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security
and peace after their fear. They will worship Me,
and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious.” [Holy Quran, Surah Al Nur, Chapter 24, Verse 56]
The verse conditionally promises to Muslims that if they continued to believe in Khilafat with good deeds, Allah will establish Khilafat for them as He fulfilled this promise in earlier people. He will establish them on their faith through Khilafat; strengthen the Faith; change their fears into peace. As a result they will continue to believe in One God an will not make partner with Him. The ungratefulness to this bounty of Allah is not liked by Him. Verse tells that actually, it is the Hand of Allah which makes Khalifah, by enlighting the faithful. The desire or plan by someone will not make him Khalifah. Allah supports true Khalifah. Prophet is sent when land is filled with darkness. To continue his work, Khilafat is sent and Allah spread their thoughts in the world and give them is a promise, it is conditional with believe in Khilafat and good deeds.
After the mention of Khilafat, Holy Quran says in the next verse: “And observe Prayer and give the Zakaat and obey the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy.” [Chapter 24, Verse 57]
This is the purpose of Khilafat. Thus obeying Khilafat for the sake of above purpose brings prestige to Faith. Khilafat oversees the worldwide situation of the faithful and keep bringing it in front of believers. It guides them which good deeds are the requirement of a certain time. Khulafa serve for the sake of pleasure of Allah only, no fear of anyone comes near them.
After Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), Khilafat was established through Hadhrat Abu Bakr (r.a), Hadhrat Umer (r.a), Hadhrat Uthman (r.a.) and Hadhrat Ali (r.a.) – [(r.a.) : may Allah be pleased with them]. Then practically it seized to exist. As said earlier, it was conditional promise.
The broader picture was foretold by Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). He prophesied about five eras and said:
1- “Prophethood will remain among you as long as Allah wills. Then Allah, the Exalted will take it away.”
2- “Then Khilafat on the lines of Prophethood shall commence as long as Allah wills. Then Allah, the Exalted will take away this.”
3-“Then tyrannical monarchy would be established, it will be there as long as Allah wills. Then Allah, the Exalted will take it away.”
4- “Then despotic kingship would emerge. It will stay as long as Allah wills. Then Allah, the Exalted will take it away.”
5-“Then (again), Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood shall be established. Then he became silent.”
[Narrated by Hadhrat Huzaifa (r.a), Musnad Ahmad, Mishkaat]
First, the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) told about his own Prophethood, then he foretold about in coming times. Righteous-Khilafat (known as Khilafat e Rashidah of four Khulafa, may Allah be pleased with them) was established. After them, kings came with various degree of severity for Muslims. Lastly he said “Then (again), Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood shall be established.” Then he became silent.
This era is mentioned in another Saying of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) when he explained the verse 4 of Surah Jumua Chapter 62. “And
among others from among them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise.”
While explaining this verse the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) placed his hand on the shoulder of Companion Hadhrat Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) and said even if faith were near the Pleiades, a man from among these would surely find it. [Ref: Bukhari, Muslim], The words of above verse tell that the incoming servant of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) would be spiritually lost in love of him (s.a.w.).…….. In other Sayings, Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) identified him as nabiullah, Messiah and Mahdi. [Ref: Muslim, Ibne Majah and others]………… The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) was spiritually shown two very different appearances (colour of skin, types of hair….) of Esa (Messiah) of Moses and Esa (Messiah) of Muhammad himself; this Messiah was encuirting Kaaba and Djjal (anti-Christ) too circling around Kaaba [Bukhari]; it clearly shows the scope of Messiah of Muhammad is to defend Islam peacefully. … (peace be on all Prophets)
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) also foretold various interlinked Signs in Heavens and Earth which were for the Latter days. These Signs included specific conditions of religious world’s chaos, selfish political affairs, decay in morals, emergence of new sciences, change in transport vehicles, special eclipse of Sun and Moon in Fasting month when the promised person would be present, gender issues, and more…..
Alongwith above sign, Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him)’s prophecy about re-establishment of Khilafat has been proved ---- according to Ahmadiyya Muslims who have Khilafat. This is for rejuvenating of peaceful Religion of Holy Prophet Muahmmad (s.a.w.). The effects are visible.
Recently Fifth Ahmadiyya Khalifah visited West Coast USA and Canada. While he met his Community and inaugurated Ahamdiyya Mosques, He addressed to many dignitaries of both nations, it was covered by Media and estimated 20 million people were reached. Dignitaries included Congress-persons, Ex Governor of California, Mayors, Professors, Academics, Religious leaders, Media persons, Governmental officials, members of armed forces and police etc. Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, CBC, CTV, Global TV and some radios etc played their role.
The Holy Khalifah explained to them that:
a) God of Islam is universal as Holy Quran teaches. He is of everyone.
b) Islam and Holy Quran teach peace and love. That is why teachings of all Prophets is praised in Quran.
c) Few militants are using name of Islam for their evil motives and it happens to other relgions too.
d) He told them when Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) and his followers were persecuted beyond limits, they self defended themselves but with immense care against innocents. Now there is no attack on Muslims becaue of their religion therefore there should be no war on the name of religion.
e) The Promised Messiah has been sent by Allah to establish peace.
f) Holy Khalifah condemned the recent attacks on innocents.
g) He also said, drone attacks on innocents are only adding hate against West.
h) He also presented Islamic solution to world problems.
i) He warned against impending world war.
j) He said Islam teaches LOVE FOR ALL HATRED FOR NONE.
k) Few weeks back, he was visiting Spain and there was vast coverage, he guided his Community to exel in righteousness. Coincidentally he came to USA West where there are many Hispanics. They asked him to print literature for them.
l) He envisions, based on Prophecies, that ‘Sun is going to rise from the West’ [spiritual metaphor, foretold by Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) originally]. He foresees that USA West will play a great role in incoming spiritual revolution in this whole region.
‘Islamic Solution for World Peace’ was the topic of Ahmadiyya Khailfa’s address to 300 dignitaries in CA reception (Beverly Hills California). Honorable Guests included: 5 US Congress persons, 37 professors, 29 inter-faith leaders, 14 from renowned media, 27 elected and governmental officials, 6 members of armed forces, 20 members of law enforcement, 13 diplomats, 26 NGO representatives, 2 guests from think-tanks, 36 professionals.
During the address, he said:

………. The first verse of the Quran reads:
“All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.”
This verse means that the God who Muslims worship, is the One God, who sustains and nourishes everything and everyone without any distinction. He fulfils all of the needs of His Creation. In other words, He is the God of the Christians, the God of the Jews, the God of the Hindus and indeed He even gives nourishment and provides to those who do not believe in His existence.
Whenever I reflect upon this particular point, I realise that I believe in that One God who is the Lord of all nations, all races and all religions, and so it becomes impossible that I could ever develop any hatred in my heart for any nation, any race or any religion…………

Dana Rohrabacher is a Congressman whose views are usually seen as anti-Islamic. His comments are mentioned above. Latter he sent a letter to Ahmadiyya representative for Public Affairs (External Affairs), he wrote:

Such and other voices are from hearts of the guests. This echo is clearly a part of blessing of Khilafat.
Ahmadiyya Khilafat has no political agenda. It believes in separation of state and religion. It systematically and personally oversees and helps faithful worldwide (in more than 200 countries) since 1908, to pay dues of Allah and dues of Creation of Allah while living their lives according to the real teaching of Islam as taught by Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
“All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.”
