1- Islam tells that divine guidance is a general bounty, which has been sent for every people.
2-Holy Quran starts with the praise of Lord Who is the Sustainer of all the worlds. Its last words urge us to pray to the Lord of people. Holy Quran presents the concept of entire universe, not merely that of a God of Arabs or the Muslims.
3- It is only the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) who was exclusively revealed by God that he is for all humanity. Holy Quran addresses all humanity for development. Ever since Islam stresses upon unity of people, the pace of march toward such unity continue to speed up in various spheres of life.
4- Holy Quran has been repeatedly called the verifier of other Books and Muslims are asked to believe all Prophets.
5- Islam alone answers to question that if all religions were from same God, why their teaching are different? Islam tells that previous religions were sent for varying conditions. Those religions faded with time and adulterated. These two facts lead the worship of One God to several, reality to fiction and humanity to deification of human being. Holy Quran tells us the surest way to distinguish a true religion is to examine its origin. Despite current corruption, if the origin is to worship One God and genuine sympathy for humanity. The founders of the religions who satisfy this criteria were indeed righteous and true Messengers of God.
6- Islam uniquely claims its perfection and it is sage guarded by God. Text is committed to memories by many and essence of meaning was saved by appointed guides, reformers and revivers.
7- Islam’s teachings are complete and fully capable of guiding humanity in all ages. It does so by: i-Enunciating basic principles and refrain from stipulating such detail as would need to vary to cope with changing times and situations. ii-It keep in view that at a given time there could be nations at various rungs of the ladders of progress. iii-It conform to human nature.
8- Islam asks for Zakat and stops Interest. Zakaat is taxing capital, realized from wealthy. It takes care of government machinery and social welfare.
9- Islam does not specify a particular system of government. Is gives the basic principles to run the government i.e. justice / fairness, sympathy, upholding human rights; government should be
‘for the people’.
10- Islam presents comprehensive teaching about equity and justice as compared to other religions.
11- Islam holds God to be the Creator of the universe and presents His Unity in such simple terms, which are understandable by all level of intellectuals; God is Perfect being, foundation of all excellences and free of all blemishes; God is living God Who manifests Himself everywhere Who loves His creation and listens to their prayers. All of His attributes are functional, He always communicates with human; there is no bar.
12- God in Islam has no contradiction between His words and deeds / science.
13- Islam supports its teaching with reasons and explanations.
14- Islam is not based on myths or folklore. Its invitation seeker to check the teaching for themselves.
15- Holy Quran is simple, comprehensive and the best – a claim that no other revealed book has made. It contains the essence of teachings of all Books. Its language is living language. Other Books’ languages are either dead or no longer in use.
16- Prophet of Islam’s life passed through all human experiences. His life events are saved which are living interpretations of Holy Quran.
17- Prophecies of Holy Quran continues to get fulfilled in all ages.
18- Holy Quran gives accounts about Hereafter and combine them with future events which when fulfilled reinforces the faith of followers about Hereafter.
19- Islam distinctively gives comprehensive code of conduct in individual, communal and international dealings for people various sectors.
20- Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said the Muslim is he whose word and deed do no not harm other.
