salvation for ALL people is to believe in the creator
in the god
the only god and that is Allah
and to worship only him
without associating anyone or any thing with him
and to believe in the final Messenger and that is Muhammad

Salvation will not be for ALL people (good as well as evil) but for only those who serve the purpose of their creation and being placed on this earth for a time (their lifetime on this earth).

The above is subject to the Judgment of God. The everlasting life in the Hereafter is the goal for people. Those who fail to achieve salvation in the Hereafter, due to their bad deeds on this earth, will not have everlasting life in the Hereafter. And, therefore, no salvation. They would be the most unfortunate ones. The unfortunate one will be:

[87.12] Who shall enter the great fire;

[87.13] Then therein s/he shall neither live nor die.

Those who will live in the Hereafter will have everlasting life, and would have achieved salvation.

What do you mean, enter the great fire and neither live nor die?
That makes no sense.

The great fire is the Hell Fire.

Those in that fire will neither be living nor be dead.

[101.6 ] Then as for him whose weight of good deeds is heavy,

[101.7] He shall live a pleasant life.

[101.8] And as for him whose weight of good deeds is light,

[101.9] His abode shall be the abyss.

[101.10] And what will make you know what it is?

[101.11] A burning fire.

That makes no sense.
He will remain in Hell for eternity in such a way that he will not die there and thus be relieved of the torment he endures,
nor will he live a good and dignified life.

also there is a similar verses

sura 35
36. And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is the fire of hell;
it shall not be finished with them entirely so that they should die,
nor shall the chastisement thereof be lightened to them:
even thus do We retribute every ungrateful one.
37. And they shall cry therein for succour:
O our Lord! take us out, we will do good deeds other than those which we used to do.
Did We not preserve you alive long enough,
so that he who would be mindful in it should mind?
And there came to you the warner;
therefore taste; because for the unjust, there is no helper.

here the veres in green color for Those who believed in Allah and were submissive
the veres in Purple color for disbelievers

sura 43
68. O My servants! there is no fear for you this day, nor shall you grieve.
69. Those who believed in Our communications and were submissive:
70. Enter the garden, you and your wives; you shall be made happy.
71. There shall be sent round to them golden bowls and drinking-cups
and therein shall be what their souls yearn after and (wherein) the eyes shall delight, and you shall abide therein.
72. And this is the garden which you are given as an inheritance on account of what you did.
73. For you therein are many fruits of which you shall eat.

74. Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell.
75. It shall not be abated from them and they shall therein be despairing.
76. And We are not unjust to them, but they themselves were unjust.
77. And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry.
78. Certainly We have brought you the truth, but most of you are averse to the truth.

If the reward of the paradise, that lasts forever, is for finite good deeds then why not punishment that lasts forever for finite bad deeds?

People have been warned well in advance to make sure that the weight of their bad deeds ("finite crimes") is not heavier than their good deeds or else they go to the Great Fire. Why don't they heed the warning?
