Hi! I am due with my first baby in April 2011. I live in Avondale and work a in a contract (temp) position in San Marco (hopefully this position will turn into a long-term job). I am interviewing Chapell Daycare on Riverplace today but I can't seem to find any other day care for newborns in the Avondale/Riverside/Downtown area. Can someone please offer thier opinion/experience with day care? I'm desperate to secure the best care possible! Chappell costs $200/week, which I think seems reasonable....but ONLY if it's QUALITY care. THANKS in advance! -Tracy

you know my advice is to ask the neighborhood organizations whats thier reccomendations are. we were looking at buying in Riverisde and sna marco almost last year now and r.a.p. and san marco preservation were VERY helpful about answering al kidns of questions

Thanks! I ended up going with Chappell in San Marco/downtown after numerous recommendations :-) $800/month though and NO web-cams are the only negatives.....
