Can anyone recommend any good Thai restaurants? My mother is picky as she's been to so many in other cities where she's lived. Now she doesn't drive (but is sharp as a whip), so I enjoy taking her to Thai places in JAX when I visit [mod]edit - removed email address....it's never a good idea to post your email address on a public forum....use Direct Message here on City-Data instead[/mod]

Jax has a lot of Thai food.

For a good reliable place, not too fancy, I like Sala Thai on Beach Blvd in the Southside/Intracoastal West area.

Thai Palace in Beauclerc (North Mandarin) is really good too - it's on San Jose Blvd.

Both of these have been around forever.

I think I may have already mentioned this in another forum: My personal favorites are Authentic Taste of Thai on University Boulevard between I-95 and Beach Boulevard, and Thai Cafe on Park/US-17 in Orange Park. Thai Cafe as Riveree mentioned is also good.
