Sorry I didn't throw this out there before but tonight was ImpactJax's kickoff event for 2012. ImpactJax is a large young professionals group run by the Jax Chamber of Commerce and has members from literally all fields and professions. We had at least 100 people out tonight at Fionn Maccool's at the Landing. It was a good time for sure. Check out IMPACTJax >> Home for more info.

Hi - Thank you FSU813 for posting all of that information. I'm moving to Jax with my family (husband, 15yr old & 18 yr old) this summer and my older daughter & her boyfriend (early 20's) are also coming down for college. They've been asking about what the city is like. I've been to Jax a few times and everything I saw was just a big suburb, with the exception of the beaches. Thankfully now I can show them that there are a number of places where there's actually something happening. Much appreciated!
