Good morning
For you new folks that will be experiencing your first "winter" here I would like to share a tip.
Even though it is Florida we get chilly and you will find the need to turn on your heat.
lol I though about it this morning because the house was 69 degrees when I got up.
You all know how when you first go from A/C to heat you get that what I call the "its getting cold stinky smell"
Now that it is cool enough to have the windows open to enjoy the breezes it is also a good time to switch the system over so the stinky smell goes out the windows
. you can then switch it back but the stinky is now gone
It is also a way to make sure the system is working properly it would stink (no pun intended) to find out when it is 40 degrees that there is an issue.

Another tip:
This is also the time of year when, sadly, you have to consider putting the flip-flops to the side for a couple of months..........I

I think we need to make a stand and all 3 of us wear flip flops on "girls day"
the socks don't come out till mid to end of december
i did put away the sleeveless tops and the gulp capris
though I am looking forward to being able to wear the really cool fleece jacket I got in Alaska
