JSO too.

You nailed it.

(this thread is proof that people do not have to possess good judgment nor critical thinking skills to type).
Thank you. Its in their interest not to report on it for the reasons I have mentioned. Based on your handle you are probably a sports fan so I will give you an example from the sports world so that you will understand.

A few years ago Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisburger ran into some potential legal trouble when a woman at a Reno, Nevada hotel/resort accused him of assualting her. This story was being reported by CBS Sports, Fox Sports and numerous other media outlets. However for days and days you would not see a mention of this on ESPN TV, ESPN Radio or the website. Why was that? Maybe to preserve access to the star QB? They only started covering the story after it became a bigger story that they were ignoring the growing scandal. So yes, media cover-ups happen all of the time.

If you believe everything being spoonfed to you by the local media I question your judgment. Some of the local sports reporters make it sounds like the Jaguars are going to make a playoff run this year. Why is that? To drum up interest and help ratings? Hmmmmm......

Hope that helps.

(sigh)

I could take the time to demonstrate how your premise is 180 degrees incorrect, but that would involve a helluva lot of typing, and you wouldn't dismiss your theory of a massive law enforcement/media conspiracy to conceal the "real truth".

So what's the point?

Fyi, Publix has a coupon for tinfoil in this weeks paper.

Yes but your example is one outlet. You are accusing all the outlets, Jso, and victim's family to be in on it.
