I'd say it takes me 45 minutes at the tail end of morning rush hour to get from Julington Creek to the airport. I go I-295.

I think that 45 minutes is the absolute best case scenario, and I can't imagine that myself. During rush hour traffic can back up in both of the two possible routes and an hour is optimistic.

There is a nearly new Catholic school off 103rd street, a big one with all the bells and whistles, and if I recall correctly it currently has a lot less students than it can handle. Can't say about the Northside, which is a local designation for the airport area.

Sounds like you need to balance out family, work, and school issues, and there may not be anything that is a perfect match for all three.

Maybe renting for a bit while you become more familiar with the area would be the best bet.

Definitely rent. I couldn't imagine driving to the airport everyday.
