Looking to build a home in Grand Landings, Palm Coast with Dream Finders Homes.

Any thoughts on the Grand Landings development from those who live there? Everyone seemed quite friendly when we drove through the development. Lots of waves from residents, to the point that it felt almost Stepford-like, ha-ha! Does anyone know if an additional amenities area is planned or if there are plans to expand the current one? Seems a little small to us for the number of properties, though we plan to put in our own pool anyhow.

Any RECENT experiences from those in the northeast Florida area on Dream Finders? We like their models/elevations very much and we've been talking with a very nice, non-pressure salesperson.

Just purchased the Avalon Model in Grand Landings. Very open concept and one of the nicest model we have seen. Home is yet to be built and closing expected sometime mid 2021. We purchased when price was $290,000 but it has gone up to $305,000 in 5 weeks! Construction material prices have gone up substantially. Location is great as you are just south of Palm Coast and reasonably close to the St. Augustine and Daytona area. Gated community which is nice and it is quite quiet and peaceful considering distance from 95. Well, there will be construction going on for some time and keep in mind the airport is close by but have not had issues with noise while spending some time there. Close proximity to Flagler beach and commerce is building off of route 100 in the Town Center area. We have the Dream finders home now in the World Golf Village and we are moving to a bigger home (2,500 sf). The current pool and work out area is quite small for the number of homes that will be built in the coming years. HOA fees as of today is a very reasonable $87.00 monthly. Keep construction upgrades down and be very careful with your budget when going to the design options or that price can easily soar. With a bit down and carefully chosen options you can acquire the Avalon model for around $300,000. Well that was true a few weeks ago. Looking forward to our new home. I have also been waiting for comments from locals but not forthcoming I guess. Good luck on your home search Sunset. Cheers!
