Coral Gables had such similar logic. Nice, brand new pick up truck not allowed in the driveway, but a piece of junk, rotted out sedan would be just fine, lol.

You got a note from a busybody "Karen". If your vehicles are operable, properly and currently registered, and do not block a sidewalk if one is in front of the house, then it's not an issue.

thank you all for your comments. I already asked for the community rules, the cars are still parked outside on the driveway. Certainly this community has many rules, we are rented, but I think we will leave when the lease ends. It is not at all comfortable to live like this, it seems correct to me to have rules to live orderly, but not with restrictions that do not even let you breathe easily. It's like having a private security guard behind you all day, you can't even wash your car on the driveway. well they are experiences
