I'm looking for the 2-2.5" faux wood window blinds. 21 of them to be exact in various sizes. Does anyone recommend any place specifically. I haven't actually moved to the area yet but that's the first thing I want to do. I've looked at Lowe's, but I was hoping I find someplace a little less expensive.

Thanks

I've bought many of the Home Depot "in-house" brand of faux wood blinds for rental properties. They're about $40 per window, unless you go larger than ~40". But, I'll warn you, the quality is not quite on par with Levelor, which is what Lowe's carries. Actually, Lowe's does have a cheaper brand, but they will not cut those for you; only the Levelor brand will they cut. If it were for my own house, I'd pay the extra money for the Levelor blinds from Lowe's.

I just closed on my first home and there were no blinds so the first thing I did was go to Home Depot and buy some real wood 2" blinds. They werent cheap but they were not expensive either and I only had 5 windows to buy for so I didnt mind spending a little extra to not wait for them. I think they are by designer view and cost between $40 for smaller size to $100 for a 72x72. They also will cut them to size for you.

Thanks for the info. I decided to stay away from the real wood only because I hear they can warp, especially being in sunny Florida. I think I'm going to go with D&G Custom Blinds. Anyone have any experience with these people?
