The heat latley has been MISERABLE. I can't golf, mountain bike, camp, go on walks, or ANYTHING. It's not because I am old or anything either, all my kids do not even want to play outside because its "too hot". Driving through the neighborhood from 11-5 or so and you hardly see anyone outside or any kids playing. The only thing to do is swim in the pool and hide in the AC. It's not even summer yet!

If there were decent breezes inland, it wouldn't be so bad. Yeah, it's a hot one today. Just finished showing a vacant REO property, and the power was off. Probably even more miserable INSIDE that one. LOL

Yeah, the heat has been bad lately. There's different kinds of heat. This kind is of the sickly kind.

The air has been stale and still. Everything cooks and emits fumes into the atmosphere with the smell of pine needles, asphalt, or some unidentifiable plastic chemical odor that has newly appeared this year. I've been wondering what that odor is.

If the sea breeze would kick in, and bring in some clean Atlantic air, it would not be so bad.

This heat has been ridiculous but with the river, you'd think we'd get a nice, cool breeze it would be a relief but I guess not.

Our youngest daughter had an asthma attack yesterday not 15 minutes after going outside into the heat. That's how we know it's *really* bad.

My dog, who loves his evening walk, just flattens himself out in the grass and pants.

I don't mind the heat....it's the humidity that is bad.

I was in Las Vegas two weeks ago, and it was so pleasant not to have to deal with humidity.
