I have an interview tomorrow with Transcorefor an Electronics Technician / IT consultant position.

Basically I would be installing maintaining and repairing RFID equipment for toll roads as well as operate as the office go-to guy for computer problems. I anticipate they are very casual in day-to-day dress.

I was going to wear casual black slacks (not suit pants), a blue button down collared dress shirt, and a nice dark blue tie. I did not plan on wearing a blazer or sport coat. I DO plan to wear a nice formal wool coat which I will take off at the interview.

Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

What you're talking about wearing sounds fine to me. As long as you are making the effort with proper clothes and a tie, etc. then you should be fine. I personally have yet to do the whole suit thing for an interview. I always at least wear a tie though.

Are you good? Where are you located? Are you willing to travel? Are you willing to do contract work? True, the contracts should last years but someday they may come to an end.

Do you have a URL with your resume on it? Yes, these questions are a serious inquiry. almost forgot, I'm interested in your ability to install electronic equipment.
