All I can tell the OP is that the system has become a complete joke. Place blame where it needs to be (including yourself if you have to) but at the end of the day remember it's not you.

Are you over 30 and you only have 1-2 years experience?

I think that job requirement he listed in his OP certainly is targeted towards a YOUNG crowd.

Many people in their early 60s grew up with computers as they developed and have kept up with the technology. Bend, Lift and Reach is also something that a normal healthy person in the early to mid 60s should be able to do. Saying 1-2 years experience means at least, not only. I hired a 54 year old woman for a job that requires lifting 50 lbs and she has done just fine, now 57.
I have seen ads where it means maximum work experience and they stress that using the words "up to" 1-2 years work experience.

I don't know, maybe younger workers are cheaper?

1-2 years experience in that particular job. If it were meant to discriminate against older people, it would say "no more than 10 years of experience".

The requirements in the OP are not all from one job posting but were cherry-picked out of different job postings.

Thank You

That's another indirect way of them saying..."if you are over 50 don't apply"

Are you saying that employers will offer different compensation for older workers versus younger candidates?

Are you saying entry-level jobs where no experience is required are discriminatory against older people?

Yes, some older folks who lost their job may want to apply to a front desk position and can't because of certain things in the ad.
