I would go and take whatever necessary OTC medicince that tries up the sniffles and clears the voice and stop eyes from redness and running. Talk to the Walgreens Pharmacist and ask what is best to take for your situation. You don't want anything to make you drowsy.
Clean your hands just before the interview and don't wipe your nose and eyes at all. And take a deep breath and tell yourself that any cough/sniffles is going to be paused until you make it back to the car.
If you feel a sneeze or bad cough episode coming up during the interview, ask to excuse yourself for one moment due to "allergies". Then take care if it and get back into the room immediately.
I realized I never updated what happened! I think after 3 years, my "toxic toddler" must have seriously boosted my immune system. I got really sick on Monday, but was magically feeling better enough on Tuesday that the interview went really well and no one knew I was sick.
Incidentally, I'm not a senior level person; my position is just very, very specialized, so I tend to work and interview with lots of senior people.
