Evidently when I thought I was applying for a particular job, I was signing up at a job website. Now I get calls multiple times a day from all kind of local numbers.
I wish I could remember where it was I entered in the info stating I want all these calls. I must have clicked on a T&C without reading all the small print. Dang! You have to be so careful who you are giving your info to online.
Any clue how to stop these stupid calls? I'm thinking more than likely I'll just have to keep one by one reporting them as spam and blocking them. What a pain!
Thanks everyone. I did use Google Voice and I have Google Voice forwarded to my cell so my cell rings a lot with unnecessary calls.
I have to go into Google Voice each time to mark the number as spam. Only thing is, I get tons of calls from all different numbers and not just one number.
Only wish I could remember where I must have neglected to deselect where it must have been checked that I wish to receive calls. Darn!!!! I'm usually pretty good about reading things first and being more careful.
Oh well, since I can't remember, I'll have to just continue to mark each call as spam. Hopefully eventually the calls will stop.
Unfortunately I do have to research each number to see if legit call since all calls have my area code. I just can't believe these people on other side of phone are being paid to make calls to people to try to get them to attend their online schools.
