Language Tests (employers, test, government, official)

Where might I find information about foreign language proficiency tests in my area? I was thinking about just taking a foreign language Praxis test, but I'm really not one-hundred percent confident in my level of fluency in my target language and would really like to take a test that gives a score that I do not have to report to potential employers who may question my foreign language competency if the score is too low. Are there any official proficiency tests given online?

I did. I didn't come up with anything in my area of the United States.

Most tests are government provided only unfortunately.
