I have somewhat of a history of job hopping NOT because I get bored or have any work issues, but rather I was trying to make an industry/career shift and didn't like certain locations of my previous jobs.
My first job after college lasted 2.3 years.
Then my next job lasted 1.3 years.
Then I took a contract job that lasted 1 year.
After this contract ended, I did some independent work for 1.6 years.
I returned back to graduate school full-time
Now I just took a new job because I didn't want to be unemployed after graduation but the location is really bad in the middle of nowhere.
I am aware of my past job tenure so I wanted to find the right job in the right location that I can stay over 3-4+ years at but it didn't work out that way. Any thoughts?
I switched industries, but now I'm in accounting/finance
Am I stuck in my current job for the foreseeable future? I've been getting the why did you switch jobs so much in my interviews recently and it will only look worse.
I wouldn't worry about that unless a potential employer/recruiter gave you that information unsolicitedly.
