My point is that you're only doing yourself a disfavor if this is your typical reaction every time you don't get a response from a potential employer or a response that is unacceptable to you. No response is a response. It's best to always keep moving on with your job search until you get an offer.

Recruiters often advertise jobs that don't exist. They need to meet a quota and you are a means to an end. Lesson learned. That being said, I am still working, for lack of a better word, with several recruiters. However, when they call me, I ask for company names and job titles. I no longer accept the confidentiality excuse.
