I'm an experienced OR nurse - have a 'panel' interview next week and want to turn the questions to them asap. Any suggestions on questions? I know the one's they'll probably ask me are like..." When did you shine during a conflict....blah, blah".. Silly really for a staff RN, but part of the deal I guess.
Ideas?

What do you like most about working here?

What was the one thing that attracted you to this organization?

What is the main challenge right now for this organization in 2009?

It's so tough they are giving interviews to experienced OR nurses?

Isn't taking an interview kind of degrading?

Great questions, thanks!
Nicet4--- I'll tell you this, I never had to 'work' for a job. I called, spoke to someone and was either flown out to see the place or given a tour. Even printing out a resume was so they could have one 'on file'. It is odd to have to interview like this, plus, with the economy I'm afraid to ask for relocation assistance/ package. Got to figure out something though, b/c I -really -do think it's worth it for them and I flat out need it!

Take your pick, take em all, (if you are talking about the one's I posted) just good luck. use a couple, and put a story for yourself into them. just click the blue underlined link for answers and read that one, add your own stuff. if you haven't already done that.

It is my understand that nurses are in demand. If they don't have relocation assistance, perhaps they will offer a hiring bonus. I would ask.
