I wear mine when I daven, fulfill religious mitzvot (I am wearing one during today's fasting), when I read chumash, and when I go to shul.
I wear mine for the time I get up to the time I go to bed.
It certainly raises eyebrows here in this southern Christian city. There are only three or four of us that wear them all the time (including the rabbi) and we stick out like a sore thumb in public.

We've covered this before, tff. I put a ball cap over it when I'm in a restaurant (since all of them are treif here).

Got it. That's good. It would be a terrible chilul Hashem if you didn't. G-d willing you'll get your wish of one day living in a larger community with observant Jews.
I knew a C Jew who wore a yarmulke all the time and never thought twice about eating in treif restaurants. But that's not an indictment of the entire movement. Oh him? Yes, pretty indictable.
No. I have never worn one. I would cover my hair, but there would be something wrong with that since my husband is still a gentile. Someday, though, I will.

See? We learn from you, and you learn from us. Thank you for that.
I usually keep my head covered whenever I'm out of the house, even though it's not with a kippah. On Shabbat, I keep my head covered all day.
