Just noticed that for some reason Google maps has added "South Kansas City" as a rather large "place" in their maps. Not sure why, must have added it when adding I-49. FYI for those that don't know. SKC is just a part of KCMO, not its own city or anything. Google makes it look like the largest suburb of kc.

That's interesting. I've been on Google maps since I-49 was added and while I-49 was acknowledged, this "South Kansas City" thing was not there. I'm thinking this might have been put there intentionally, possibly for April Fool's Day. You should also notice the "East Side" denotation that wasn't there before. And "Northeast Kansas City". Come to think of it, the other day I noticed "Plaza Area" for the first time. I guess the SKC label could be mistakenly oversized.

I didn't notice the eastside etc. Guess they are trying to be more descriptive. If anything, they need to add "northland" to their maps.
