Good Afternoon,

We have been living here in Kansas for just about a year and have been renting. My husband is an Officer with orders that will keep us in the area for another few years. We would like to stop throwing out BAH and purchase a house in nearby Lansing. There is a home in Fairway Estates for sale currently that we are viewing next week. Love everything about the location and neighborhood, but for the few times I have driven through, I have seen mostly older people. We are a family with a young son and will probably add another soon, so we want to make sure where we live is family friendly...and also, don't want to disturb potential neighbors with our energetic, sometimes hectic life if they are used to and enjoy the slower, quieter pace. Can anyone speak of the subdivision in regards to its diversity (or lack thereof)? We will also look to rent this home when it comes time for us to leave, and need to know that it would be marketable, especially for families.

Would appreciate any advice or opinions.
