I don't know if that was a troll post or not, but I've lived in Kansas my whole life and I'm not familiar with these moderate temperatures of which you speak. LOL

Actually, there are some nice days in a year, but any given day, the temps can move from one extreme to another. In October for example, you could be experiencing some nice shirt sleeves weather in the morning and need your snow shovels by evening.

Check out ShayRealty.com for listings in NW Kansas. There are quite a few nice places for less than 200K listed there. Atwood,Goodland, Bird City and St. Francis are all nice communities. The weather changes. Goodland has a Wal Mart. One thing to keep in mind living in this area is that emergency medical services are not always close by.
