Daniel Cameron is getting the Republican rising star treatment. He’s on the schedule Tuesday night at 10:00, a prime time spot. He went to high school with my youngest daughter. I am so proud of him!!!!!!!

On another note, four of the prime time speakers are from Kentucky. In addition to Cameron, Rand Paul, Nick Sanderman, and, of course, Mitch McConnell will speak.

He's probably one of the only speeches that I'll watch!

Didn't you strongly oppose national politics being discussed in the Kentucky forum not too long ago? And earlier this summer, didn't you shut down a thread discussing Mitch McConnell, indisputably a Kentucky politician, that you disliked?

What's changed?

Oh, wait...

This isn’t national politics. This is a thread expressing pride in the Kentucky Attorney General speaking before a wide audience.

This is a thread expressing pride in a local/state figure. The RNC is a secondary point. The OP even brought in her family ties to the AG. This is trying to make something an issue that isn't one.

Exactly. I was also proud when Steven Beshear got to give the Democratic response to Trump’s first address to Congress and I think he did Kentucky proud.

That he did...referred to as, "Kentucky's newest rising star" I'll second that.

He may very well be that one person...
