Well, Ponypulr Paducah isn't in the Bluegrass region (but it is in the Bluegrass state). Think far South Western Kentucky....between St. Louis (to it's west) and Nashville (to it's south).
I have enjoyed reading everyone's results....MoMan gets one of the places he was thinking about moving to..UKWildcat gets Louisville (of all places, lol!) while Thundercat would love to get Louisville (gets Lexington lol), Hogsrus isn't real enthusiastic about his results, and wants Eastern Kentucky better represented in the quiz (and rightfully so) and Eric tried it twice (probably hoping for different results lol) and got Lexington both times! I am pretty sure Ponypulr has never drove through Paducah, by her comment...I like Frankfort okay, it's pretty country and pretty city (but far too many politicians for me!)
It's all in good fun, and you guys brought a smile to my face.

Cat,
Thanks for sharing this entertaining link with us!
It's funny to take these types of quizzes just for fun! Sometimes the results seem very uncanny!

Paducah
You like to move slow and Paducah is at just the right pace for you. Check out the Floodwall Murals, the National Quilt Museum, or the Riverwalk. You can settle down, start your career or family business, and get a drink once a week at the local watering hole. You don't need something new and exciting every few days, you prefer to stick with tradition and habits that make you happy. Once you're in Paducah you'll never want to leave!

Yeah, I mean if I HAD my own personal choice personally, Lexington wouldn't be on it.....nothing personal, I'm sure it's a great city but it's just me.
I'd like to have 2 acres down near Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley, Trigg, Lyon, Marshall, Caloway counties... off of a gravel road with no exit, dead ends at the lake. Then I can go bass, catfish and crappie fishing whenever I want and get back to nature LOL.
But my wife won't go for it, she's a city gal..even so I probably couldn't get land that close to the lake anyways in alot of spots right? Well, as close as I could get!
It's cool! I love Lexington, but I believe in opposites, and people just feel and want something different sometimes....there isn't anything wrong with that - and there is no right or wrong (when I first moved to Lexington, I actually didn't like it at first, but it grew on me, in time, and now I love it!)
Would an illinoisian be accepted in eastern Kentucky? In the Pikesville area?
Sure...I don't think you would have any problem being accepted. We have people from all over the Country in Pikeville. Pikeville College brings a lot of people to Eastern Kentucky.
Fonlady, I have to say that the people that I have met that have been from Eastern Kentucky are some of the nicest, warmest and most genuine and real people that I have ever met.

I live in Pikeville (transplanted from Dayton,Ohio many years ago) Why don't you think you would be accepted?
We are a rural area, but with the University of Pikeville and the our large hospital there are a variety of different Cultures and Ethnic groups here. All are welcomed as neighbors.
