I'm sorry your Church membership has increased JMT. I was always one who liked smaller crowds myself, more things tend to get done with fewer opinions.

I have some old bills that I am paying off. Medical bills. Should have that done in a couple of months. I'm trying to get my credit up. Remember, this is very new money for us. We are just starting to do well. So I figure it can't hurt to wait. But I am on it, girl. Good looking out, as we say in New England.

I think that gas is coming down, again. Who knows how long that will last. I think it's all a big game and they manipulate prices to their advantage. But that's a whole other thread.

Anyway, I paid $2.69 a gallon at Shell today! Woo-hew! By the way, I love that Shell gas. Thanks for the recommendation!

Don't worry, in my church, our congregations split when they become too large. So while 6 years ago there was just one Mormon congregation for North Knox County, now there are three.

I'll tell you a little secret about medical bills. Working in both the billing dept and collections dept myself, if you call up and talk to the supervisor or office manager in billing (not just any billing dept rep because they don't usually have authority) but see if you can negotiate a pay off balance with them taking say 10% or 20% of your balance due (depending on the size of your bill) if you pay your bill in full today. The catch is to pay in full today though. We did this often to our patients just to get the bill off our records too and keep our AR accounts down. That goes for the same even if the bill is in collections but you have to call the place of the original bill and not the collection agency then they will call collections and tell them of the discount to adjust. Call them up and say "if you can give me __% discount on my bill, i can pay this balance in full today" and see what they say. Can't hurt to try.
