Hello everyone,

I will be moving to Knoxville around the first of the year for an internship opportunity, and I am looking for a good place to live. I will have a roommate and prefer a 2BR/2BA apartment. Our budget for rent would be around $1000/month, but if utilities are included this could be a little higher. Since the internship does not guarantee employment, I would prefer to start with a 6-month lease. My internship will be near Pellissippi Parkway in the area above Keller Bend. I would like to have a commute of 20 minutes or less. I would be willing to consider a single bedroom apartment, but only if it is significantly cheaper than the 2 bedroom.

So far I am considering:

Bridlewood on Westland
The Villas at Emerald Woods
Elevation Knoxville

If you have any suggestions or a nice place for rent, please let me know.

Thanks,

Corey

My two friends both live at Kingston Pointe, on of whom works at Oak Ridge Lab. These complex is right off the interstate and very affordable. It's an older complex but has been renovated and has a mix of families, young professionals, and college students. It would be closer to downtown but also easy to get to Pellissippi Parkway

You might want to try the new apartments at Northshore Town Center.
