Correct, yes. I'm not sure what Knoxville's like, but in the Tri-Cities market with your background you could probably find a receptionist/personal assistant job for $14-$17/hr.
There are also occassionally postings for vet assistants, believe it or not. Lots of pets in east TN, I guess. My suggestion would be to keep an eye on Craigslist and on

More like 20-30 minutes if there's no traffic (well, except Sevierville). The largest saturation of vet jobs are going to be found in west Knoxville.
