Does anyone live there or know much about it? Looking for input on the Belle Morris school too.

I am looking at a house in that neighborhood.

Thanks!

I have a friend who lived there and honestly it's hit or miss. IMO the gentrification from Fourth & Gill has failed to run over into that area mainly because of Cherry St, which has a pretty bad rep and connects east Knox to North Knox...and obviously there are not the Victorian homes like in Fourth & Gill. Despite that, it's not a bad area overall, although I would factor in how close my home was to Cherry and the surrounding neighbors.

Cherry is not very close, probably two miles east. I am looking right off Broadway.

Like most places, talk with the immediate neighbors. Maybe if it ever warms up someone will be out washing their car. I think JMT lives near there.

I know that further down, between Washington Pike and Emoriland, has recently seen a lot of 20 and 30-something musicians, teachers, grad students, and miscellaneous hipsters buying and renting houses. That area I am not familiar, though I am thinking that area may be one of the shadier areas of North Knoxville. There is a public housing tower around there. JMT can probably tell you better.
