Hello!

Does anyone in Las Cruces use an indoor tv antenna? If so, how does it work for you. I know there are a lot of unknown variables with these antennas - some work very well, depending on location and the surrounding terrain. Tired of high cable costs!!

Thanks for your replies!

Can't help but I'm guessing there is a reason you need to have it indoors.

I live in a community where antennas and satellite dishes are not permitted on roofs. The only option is Comcast - and, I do not like Comcast!

We have been using an indoor and an outdoor antenna for 5+ years (since 2010), however I live in Rio Rancho, quite a distance from you. It's normally called OTA reception, "Over The Air". However we do watch some channels, movies etc from our internet.

Here is a listing which might be available to your area, depending on various factors:

Las Cruces, New Mexico TV Listings

That AOL site is not showing the actual programs being shown right now. (It does not work well for me either many times).

Thanks Poncho. I'll check this out. By the way, which antenna do you use? There are several that have high ratings, such as the Mohu 50.

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

I have one which is a TERK brand, indoor/outdoor with an amplifier, works great except getting a good location from my house is a problem, big tree and a big shed...

The other is a $12.00 wire rectangular antenna which I don't even remember where I bought it.

I designed a few before that with mixed results (Bow Type design, pretty common).

You can go crazy searching google with all the instructions...

I thought I posted some pictures, they are not where I thought they would be...
