I'm thinking about moving to Las Vegas to train in martial arts at a gym there called "Xtreme Couture." Here is the gym's location:

That said, can anyone recommend a safe area to live in near this gym? The closer, the better... but safety comes first.

My mom's friends live in a community along Robindale between Rainbow and Torrey Pines. The zip code is 89139. It's about 6 miles from the martial arts gym you're referring to. They love it there and say it's a safe area.

This also seems like a joke to me. I recommend moving into the area around the stratosphere or the alphabet streets. You will get lots of real life training in martial arts. That's where steven segal goes to brush up on neck snapping techniques.

There is a really nice neighbourhood just south west of there called
Southern Highlands . Depending on whether you are planning to purchase or rent I guess ....'cause that particular area consists of mostly houses.
There is ONE apartment complex there that I am aware of (Fairways?) which is nice also.

I work right down the street from Xtreme Couture on Sunset. If you want to be really close take a look at Maule/rogers/badura/arville/warm springs/robindale, etc. On the map just south of the 215 on the west side of I-15
