I hate the school year. Only because right across the street is an elementary school. Try getting in and out of the community in the 2 little streets we have that are both in the school zone. When school is letting out, it's impossible to get out of the neighborhood. Next place I live will be miles from a school.

Yes, your area is bad. I went that way one time taking my daughter to the park around school. Never again, I always avoid that area.

My daughter starts kindergarten tomorrow. I think Hubby and I are more nervous then her.

Elementary kids are worth 500. Middle schoolers 750. High schoolers are 1000 points (1500 if their pants sag).

Be careful out there!

The illusive preschool kids are worth 2000 though. I can't wait.

Middle schoolers who are already in the road where you are trying to drive are only 250. It's just too easy.

Speaking of kids and sagging pants,etc... driving back home from Trader Joe's last week, there was a kid trying to walk down the street. His pants only went to right under his butt, they were obviously a few sizes too small. And they were really tight. He was holding onto them and trying to walk. We both agreed he looked like a total fool. Just imagine if he had to run. He'd probably kill himself trying to hang onto those stupid pants.
This is the second time I've seen that.
