I was cruising around on Realtor.com today and found a condo that I really like. The address is 64 Strada Principale, its in Lake Las Vegas. I was just curious about the area. Is it a good area, bad area? I was also wondering about the HOA fees. Are they astronomically expensive or are they decent? I heard Lake Las Vegas was in foreclosure or something like that. Are people still even living there?

Thank you
AZtoLV

I rented a condo at LLV last winter. The area is beautiful. We stayed in the Tramonto area (on the east side near the old Marriott) and there were very few people there although there seemed to be a steady amount of traffic through the whole LLV area. My biggest complaint with LLV is that it is very isolated from any commercial development - you have to go to Boulder Highway for just about everything.
