Kevin Janneson just said it hasn't dropped below freezing for 331 days, but will probably go down to 30º tomorrow night and break the streak. I think he said the record for that stat was 367 days a few years ago. Have y'all noticed that you can watch all four weathercasts and get four different forecasts? Even more strange when they all get the weather from the same NWS.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a freeze
watch... which is in effect from late Wednesday night through Friday
morning for the western and eastern Mojave Desert... the morongo
basin... northeast Clark County... Las Vegas Valley and southern
Clark County.

* Expected temperatures: morning low temperatures both Thursday
and Friday will generally be between 25 and 30 degrees.
I'm in Portland right now. We won't even make it above freezing today.
7-Day Forecast for Latitude 45.52°N and Longitude 122.85°W (Elev. 200 ft)

And now you know why I bought a place in the SW.

The XYL and I are loving it because we prefer cold weather to hot ...but not too cold. I preferred it much more when I was skiing though.

It's nice to get a chance to wear my Wranglers and a sweatshirt for a change.
