Hello,

I am interested in buying a house in the shadow hills area of 89129. I was wondering if anyone has inputs on that area. It seems to be a nice area but I am concerned about various pockets of vacant land with a commercial property sign. Since most of these vacant lots are surrounded by residential areas, is it possible to have an inflow of walmarts/7-11's without the public's intervention.
Also if your house is next to a vacant lot zoned for commercial use, does that affect the resale value of your house. I would appreciate your inputs.
