For those of you who relocated to Vegas and used a moving company to bring your car, about how much did it cost?

We are from Boston and have a four door Sedan. We were told we could expect it to cost about 2k. Is that about right?

I have never used a company to transport my vehicle to where I moved...BUT I have had them transported around the US..And 2K seems possible.. I have shipped for less and more depending on when and where the vehicle went...

Heck it costs that much or more to move your household goods so a vehicle is probably that much...

for NYC I was quoted closer to 1K, But you never know what they SAY, and what the price is, when you actually book it.

We had a 4 door Hyundia delivered from NY to Las Vegas 6 years ago. With "expedited service it cost us close to 2K at that time.

We checked out autodriveaway to see what it would cost to transport my son's car from Nashville to LV. If we use the cheapest service, which only promises the car will arrive within a five day window, the cost is $548.00. We supply the first tank of gas, the driver has to supply the rest and pay for his or her own accommodations and food. The car is completely insured through autodriveaway. We are considering it. My son has a banger old Nissen that is not pretty, but it still will be cheaper to go this route than to try and pick up another old car once he gets to LV. He is driving with me to LV because he doesn't like the idea of me driving alone all that way so he was going to leave his car behind. Now we may not have to .

$2000 sounds like alot, it should be no more $1000

heck-i paid 1800 for movers to move my stuff from east coast to here(that was for a 2 bedroom house)

I agree with airics price

Get more quotes and they should not be charging for gas
